A New Business in Los Ranchos de Albuquerque

There’s a new, trendy, upscale auto shop in Los Ranchos de Albuquerque. Sunday, April 3, 2011 was the Grand Opening for a second location of Dan Brown’s Automotive at 7702 Fourth Street NW, at the corner of Fourth Street and Los Ranchos in Northwest Albuquerque. From the eye-catching mural on the south side of the building to the classic leather chairs in the office area to the spic-and-span garage, it was clear that this is no ordinary auto shop.

Images from the 2010 New Mexico State Fair

My son Eric and I went to the New Mexico State Fair this past weekend. I usually take more photos than I took on Saturday, but I did manage to take a few photos.

I always enjoy looking down Main Street towards the midway.

Our favorite exhibit was, as always, the Natural Resources Exhibit.

We also enjoyed looking at the old cars from the Tin Lizzies Car Club.

And this is New Mexico, so of course there was a Jackalope.

I couldn’t resist taking a photo of a Morning Glory growing near the Agriculture Building.
