I Feel Pretty

I feel pretty,
Oh, so pretty,
I feel pretty and witty and bright!
And I pity
Any girl who isn’t me tonight.

Praying Mantis

I feel charming,
Oh, so charming
It’s alarming how charming I feel!
And so pretty
That I hardly can believe I’m real.

Praying Mantis

See the pretty girl in that mirror there:
Who can that attractive girl be?
Such a pretty face,
Such a pretty dress,
Such a pretty smile,
Such a pretty me!

Praying Mantis

I feel stunning
And entrancing,
Feel like running and dancing for joy,
For I’m loved
By a pretty wonderful boy!
(Whose head I ripped off.)

Praying Mantis

Music by Leonard Bernstein, lyrics by Stephen Sondheim.

The Balloons Came to My House

The first weekend of the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta is always very crowded. For that reason I usually go later in the week. On Sunday the balloons came to my house.

Autumn Roses in Corrales

Yesterday I took photos of autumn roses blooming in my garden and elsewhere around Corrales. I always appreciate them as I know they are the last ones I will see until spring.
